"Uzbekistan Promotion Day” was held in cooperation with the International Student Office of the Ondokuz Mayıs University and the International Student Community, on the occasion of the 27th year of the Constitution of Uzbekistan. The event, held at the OMU Atatürk Congress and Convention Center, was attended by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Cengiz, the Uzbekistan Embassy in Ankara Military Attaché Shuhrat İkramov, Education Attaché Bobur Togayev, International Student Coordinator Prof. Dr. Izzet Akça, President of The Association of Graduates of Turkey Ergash Jumaev, President of the International Student Community Gulomjon Sobirov, academic staff and students.

 Poetry, songs, dance performances promoting Uzbekistan's culture were presented and the popular dish of Uzbekistani cuisine Uzbek rice was served to the participants.
