Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) International Student Coordinator, Academic Advisor and Faculty of Agriculture member Dr. Mehmet Tütüncü and students from Akhaltsikhe visited Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal in their office.

Cemile Hafızoğlu, a student of the Faculty of Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department and Habip Gülahmedov, a student of the Vocational School of Health Medical Services and Techniques, presented plaques to Rector Ünal on behalf of the Akhaltsikhe Youth Union.

Cemile Hafızoğlu told Rector Ünal that they were responsible for the Youth Union at OMU and were ready to help students from  Akhaltsikhe in their education and social life through various endeavours. Rector Ünal, on the other hand, stated that the pain of exile in the hearts of Akhaltsikhe Turks, who were separated from their homeland, preserved its freshness and that they were always at the student's side when needed.
