The independence of Kazakhstan was celebrated with various cultural and traditional shows at our university, where international students reflect their cultures. While our Kazakhstani students were serving the food they prepared, they also presented a visual feast with a painting exhibition. Our students, who took part on the stage with different activities specific to their countries, ensured the audience had a good time with their tunes, dance performances, wrestling matches and narratives based on their history. With his opening speeches, Head of International Relations Unit Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said KURŞUNLUOĞLU and TOMER Director Prof. Dr. Bekir ŞİŞMAN accompanied the Independence Day. At the end of the event, which International Relations Branch Manager Ahmet ÇAKIR,  International Student Coordinator Dr. Olcay BAYRAKTAR and guest students from Sakarya University as the representative of Kazakhistani students attended, the students who took part in the organization were presented their certificates. The event ended with a cake cutting and photo shoot.
