A stakeholder meeting was held for the Internationalization in Higher Education: Navigating Global Challenges and Opportunities Conference organized by OMU International Relations Unit. A worldwide organizing committee was formed as a result of the intense interest in our conference from the universities with which our unit has signed international cooperation protocols. Representatives of 22 universities including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Somalia, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, Kosovo, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Albania, Moldova, Palestine, Uganda and Malaysia and Yunus Emre Institute were present at the online meeting as the organizing partner of our conference. The meeting started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and introductions about the conference, and the participants introduced themselves and expressed their opinions and suggestions about the planning of the conference.
