“Volunteer Ambassadors” television program, televised on TRT Haber channel and displaying Turkey, Turkish, Turkish culture and life histories of students from the perspective of international students living in our country, will meet the audience on December 2, Saturday at 18:35 with Samsun and OMU theme this time. Visiting Samsun in the scope of the program in July, the TRT Haber team conducted shots in different locations of the campus and city in order to present the audience the adaptation processes of international students to Turkey, the Turkish culture and the city; and their interaction with Samsun and the university. While filming interviews with students speaking different languages, from different religions, cultures and ethnicity, which are the international colors of Ondokuz Mayıs University, in locations where students spent time in the scope of social activity; the TRT Haber team also scored visuals from different locations of Samsun and University. Thus, the next stop of “Volunteer Ambassadors”, which is filmed and ready to air, will be Samsun and OMU.
Students talked about their adaptation processes with Samsun in the interviews and described the opportunities provided by the city and university in terms of education, socio-culture and sports. Pointing out their happiness to have experienced the Turkish culture and traditions, the international students stated they will carry along the Turkish culture and Turkey’s vision to their homelands.
“Volunteer Ambassadors” will air on December 2. Saturday at 18:35 on TRT HABER channel.
