The International Students Office of Ondokuz Mayıs University, who took key steps in the process of internationalization, was opened in order to provide a better education for the international students from all over the world.
The opening of the office, which will provide services on the 4th floor of the OMU Turkish Education Application and Research Center, was attended by Governor İbrahim Şahin, Rector Prof. Sait Bilgiç, Vice Rector Prof. Vedat Ceyhan, Assistant to Rector Prof. Hüsnü Demirsoy, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Menderes Kabadayı, Head of International Relations Office Prof. Rıdvan Kızılkaya, faculty deans, faculty staff and students.
After cutting the ribbon for the opening of the International Students Office, Governor İbrahim Şahin visited the classes, labs and other activity rooms, accompanied by Rector Sait Bilgiç and other members of protocol, and chatted with students.
A total number of 2642 international students from 102 different countries receive education at OMU.
