"Iraq Promotion Day" was organized with the cooperation of the International Student Office and the International Student Community.

Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Cengiz, International Relations Office Head Prof. Dr. Rıdvan Kızılkaya and invitee speaker Dr. Zekai Gül, a member lawyer of the Samsun Bar Association, academicians and students attended the event held at the Atatürk Congress and Convention Center.

The event, which continued with the presentation of the Iraq promotional film, presented a poetry, music and theatre show reflecting Iraqi culture. The event ended with the serving of Iraq's regional dishes.
